Product Prototyping Service – Full testing before production

One of the many services PCMS offer, and an integral part of the process of making your idea a reality, is our product prototyping service, which allows testing of your concept using a physical product. Sometimes, it may be necessary to evaluate form and functionality of your design, so we use a range of production and manufacturing methods, including CNC machining, turning and fabrication, which work in harmony with 3D printing. These methods enable rapid production of functioning or aesthetic prototypes.

A great variety of 3D printing techniques are available to us, including FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling) – FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) – CFR (Continuous Fibre Reinforcement) – CFF (Continuous Filament Fabrication) – SLA (Stereolithography) – LFS (Low Force Stereolithography).

In some cases, a prototype is only use for proof of concept, before proceeding to product manufacture. Alternatively, one-off items for use in point of sale applications are popular with our clients. Additionally, fully functioning models can also be created, giving you the opportunity to see your product come to life in physical form in the most cost-effective manner.

Our engineers work closely with customers ranging from small enterprises to large corporations, aiming to improve the process of bringing your product to market with an iterative product development cycle, giving feedback throughout the process regarding any design and manufacturing concerns.  With a wide range of techniques and materials at our disposal, we aim to bring you a simple, fast and effective solution for your prototyping needs.
